First Haircut

Imogen got her hair cut for the first time on January 31, 2010! My mom made the actual cuts while I entertained her so she would keep her head looking forward and somewhat still. We just trimmed her 'tail' that was growing in the back so now it's all even :) Here is an *after* picture. You can see a *before* picture in the Red Sparkly Shoe post right before this.

Her Red Sparkly Shoes

Imogen is a shoe lover -- this we know. And at a very tender young age, she actually cares about what shoes she wears. Take, for instance, this past Sunday. I put a very adorable outfit on her and brushed her hair. Then I grabbed her shoe basket out of her closet to see which pair would match the best. She immediately grabbed the basket from me, dumped it out and found her favorites: a pair of red, sparkly ballet flats that Nunny bought her in the fall to wear with her halloween costume. I, however, did not want her to wear her red sparkly shoes, but rather a pair that matched...but this girl would not let me get another shoe NEAR her feet without saying "all done! all done!" So, we wore the red sparkly ones. Choose your battles wisely, right?
